Hope Center Uganda is first and foremost a Christ-centered home for the children who stay here. We strive to not only provide for the physical needs of the children, but also the spiritual ones! Our caretakers make it a priority to share the love of Jesus with the children daily. Prayers before meals, spontaneous worship songs, Bible stories, religious activities are just some of the ways that this happens!
Worship.
We have local pastors come to the center a few times a month to lead the children and staff in worship, and have even had some baptisms of children, staff, and sometimes the staff’s families!
God’s love.
We want every single child to know that they are loved by their Heavenly Father and to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior! When walking around the center, Christ’s love is evident all around! From Bible verses painted on the walls, to religious books on the shelves. From Bible stories being told, to songs of praise being sung and shouted, you can always feel the love and presence of Jesus all around!
